SIEMENS SENTRON HED43 CIRCUIT BREAKERS

NEMA vs IEC. Full size vs compact size. When it comes to space Siemens has accomplished a terrific feat by making the entire line of HED43B100 breakers compact size.Back in the old days believe it or not televisions were like a giant light bulb and were referred to as the “tube”, and they were giant and heavy and occupied a large part of any room. This is the same analogy with I-T-E and present day Siemens circuit breakers. Some 100 Amp breaker in the past were over 20 inches long and weighed in excess of 35 lbs. Today the entire line ED43B015 thru ED43B125 and the HED43B015 thru HED43B125 are 3 inches wide by 5 inches tall and weigh about 3 ½ lbs.
What about adding accessories?
In today’s breaker like the ED42, ED43, ED63, HED43, HHED63 breakers all shunt trips requirements are met by just slapping to the side the shunt trip modular unit to the side of the breaker. Even a caveman could do it. Modern technology and the direction of miniaturizing equipment has provided more product with greater capacity in less environmental room.
Once a customer uses Siemens Sentron thermal magnetic HED43 breakers, they usually like the systems and see them as intuitive and practical. Here is a list of the high interrupting42 Kiloampere At 480, 3 Pole units at 480 Volts:
HED43B015     HED43B020      HED43B030
HED43B040     HED43B050      HED43B060
HED43B070      HED43B080     HED43B090
HED43B100      HED43B110     HED43B125

Please look at all your options, since there is a breaker for your specific application. Many accessories like enclosures, shunt trips, auxiliaries, handle operators, lugs and many more.
